SPLICE Ensemble (Keith Kirchoff, piano; Adam Vidiksis, percussion; Sam Wells, trumpet) give the world premiere of Ansible by Caroline Louise Miller. This commission has been made possible by the Chamber Music America Classical Commissioning Program, with generous funding provided by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Also playing works by Christopher Biggs, Flannery Cunningham, and Robert Seaback.
SPLICE faculty Adam Vidiksis and Keith Kirchoff share a program presenting the music of featured guest composer Kyong Mee Choi. Also included are works by Heather Stebbins, Stefan Prins, and Christopher Biggs.
Guest artist Ben Melsky joins SPLICE faculty Sam Wells in a program with works by Olga Neuwirth, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Toru Takemitsu, Kaija Saariaho, Pablo Ortiz, and Kyong Mee Choi.
SPLICE Institute’s guest ensemble Dal Niente performs a program of works for instruments and electronics.
