This talk explores some ways that the analysis of electronic music might be approached from a music-theoretical standpoint. How do things like musical form and sound objects manifest themselves in this medium?

Conjuring up imagined communities with live electronics

The presentation will explore how it is possible, through the use of sound spatialisation and resonating objects, to represent less hierarchical communities and favour new ways of thinking.

This will be a presentation about patch structure in my recent pieces and how it relates to compositional process and musical outcomes. It will focus on signal flow, dynamics, and routing.
