This year YOU will create our Institute Logo! This logo becomes the Institute’s visual “look and feel” and is prominently featured on all Institute advertising, programs, livestreams, name tags, and Institute t-shirt.

Competition/Submission Guidelines

SPLICE Institute uses two different sized logos each year:

1. Landscape size (851x315) for Facebook ads, name tags, google forms, etc.
2. Portrait (square) size (1080x1080 pixels) for Instagram, t-shirts, etc.

You may submit ONE or BOTH sizes for the competition. If you win, you must submit BOTH sizes.
You may submit JPG or PNG, but we’ll need both formats if you win.

Your logo MUST include the SPLICE main logo (see next section) and the following text:

SPLICE Institute Main Logo Limitations

The SPLICE Institute main logo (SPLICE name and vertical "audio bars") may only be re-colored and globally resized. Please do not change the size or shape of the lines, nor the SPLICE Font (Avenir Next).

The "Institute" text may be resized and moved to fit your design, but you must use Avenir Next font for the “Institute” text.

Other Limitations

None! Just remember that we will use the logo design for both electronic and print media. So your design must be visible in print and on small documents like name tags. (Note: Our design team uses Adobe Illustrator, but you may use whatever software you like. We might ask you to make a few adjustments, so make sure your logo can be edited after the fact.)

Also note: This year’s theme is “Exploring the Past, Creating the Future”, so you may use the theme for inspiration (or not!).
